Training & Education
Pro Bono Volunteer Attorney Training
As a volunteer with Pro Bono Project, you will receive valuable training, both formally and informally. By offering training in areas of law that are underserved, the Pro Bono Project not only meets the needs of the community, but also helps young attorneys establish their practices.
We have offered a 12-hour introduction to family law as well as shorter 3-hour trainings in family law issues, immigration, housing, ethics, consumer, and bankruptcy. The Project’s training is aimed at giving introductions for those who have not had experience in the area of law. Volunteer attorneys receive a substantial discount on the tuition for these courses.

We Need Experts and Experienced Attorneys to Help with Training
The Pro Bono Project is always interested in expanding the training programs that we can offer to our volunteer attorneys. If you are an expert or experienced attorney in a particular area and can offer substantive and procedural training assistance in a particular area, please contact us.
